The XIX Printing Symposium was held on 16-17.06.2016 in halls and gardens of the Hotel Karolinka in Gogolin. It was an unique meeting because of the 25th anniversary of the company.
The programme reflected this very special nature of the event. Series of lectures began with the summary of the last 25 years made by Joachim Siekiera (Chairman of the Supervisory Board). He showed the most important events of the last quarter century and pointed to those that will affect the future of the company. Then Marek Siekiera (President) discussed technological innovations on examples of printed works. Packaging demonstrations prepared for the occasion of the Drupa fair were presented. All of them were made using products and tools developed by our company using the latest technologies. Summary of Drupa 2016 was made by Mirosław Pawliński (editor-in-chief of the Świat Poligrafii). He commented in a very interesting way about the crucial and most innovative new products that we could see in Düsseldorf.
After the break, we met with two enthusiasts. The first, Krzysztof Kras from the company Kras, presented in a colorful manner the aspects of modern management of emotion, intuition and motivation. Second one, Krzysztof Hołowczyc (rally driver, Polish and European champion) through the story of his career, showed us how passion can become a success but also how much hard work and determination it needs. Traditionally, there was also a lecture about the economic issues. Jan Krzysztof Bielecki (Prime Minister, economist) was speaking about Poland, Europe and their role in the modern global economy. He was happy to answer the questions of guests after the lecture. Series of lectures finished with the presentation of results of the 3rd edition of the contest Chespa Packaging Design by Michał Dębecki (Chespa Repro Studio Director). He showed the best works and winners of each category and the winners of the main prize received their trophies.
The artistic part of the evening began with the violin and harp concert. The artists presented classical music in the contemporary version and arrangement. Then the Art Color Ballet in a dynamic and visually appealing performance moved us into the world of movement, dance and color. At the end of the evening played the band Rebelianci. The blues-rock repertoire introduced on stage a lot of positive energy. It was a foretaste of the Chespa Rock Festival at St.Anne Mountain in July.
