Ingredients:
- 2 teaspoons of curry spice
- 2 packets of jasmine rice
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons of sesame oil
- 1 a handful of frozen peas
- 1 red onion
- 4 teaspoons of dark soy sauce
- pepper
- half a chili pod (optional)
Preparation:
Boil the rice in salted water for 10 minutes, drain and pour cold water.
Pour some oil onto the pan and set it at a high heat, fry the diced onion.
Pour the rice onto the pan, fry for a while and add the curry. Stir thoroughly to make the rice all yellow.
Then, make some space on the side of the pan and add the beaten eggs. Fry them until they’re well done, mix together with the rice with a wooden spoon.
Add peas and pepper. Fry literally 2 minutes until the peas are soft.
Pour sesame oil over the whole dish for even better aroma and taste.
Finally, pour dark soy sauce over everything. Don’t mix it right away, give it about 15-20 seconds. Thanks to this, a shell full of flavour will be formed at the bottom.
Mix everything vigorously. Done!
If you want a spicier version, add some chopped chili peppers.
